MY STORY

MY STORY

Detailaufnahme Tennispokal, Tennisschläger und Ball vor Netz

"Everyone approaches the ball and the racket in a different way. That's why I always look very carefully at what is already possible for me and what can be optimised. I certainly combine passion with insight into human nature. My many years of experience also pay off. I have been at the GRAFENWALD as a tennis coach for almost 10 years."

Kids' tennis FIT FOR THE FUTURE.

It's great to know that our young people are not only in good hands, but also professionally trained. In the KIDS TENNIS SCHOOL at the GRAFENWALD, you can book exciting introductory courses and coaching offers – especially thrilling in the holidays – for children aged 4 and above. Here, your little protégées will learn using state-of-the-art, methodical equipment and train according to the recognised "play & stay"method. Our courses are aimed at little munchkins aged 4 and above – our Minis – or kids starting at 6 years, junior novices, and also advanced tournament or performance players.

SPORT – BALLS – DISCOVER TENNIS

GOAL: Enthusiasm for tennis as a sport

Play- and movement-oriented learning to develop and promote coordination skills and dexterity. In small groups, a large number of tennis-specific movements and basic motor patterns are learned with a lot of fun and commitment via clear methodical tasks (core elements of the striking movements and projectile motion, teaching that applies across sports).

For kids aged 6 and above

FROM WITH EACH OTHER TO AGAINST EACH OTHER

GOAL: rallies from the get-go

Playing on small and mid-sized courts, with rackets that "grow with you" and correspond to one's bodily proportions. We teach tennis with differently coloured balls that bounce in an age-appropriate way, allow for a technically clean game, and ensure rallies from the beginning.
With modern tournament and team formats, the children's willingness to learn and perform is promoted.

Juniors from 10 years

FOR BEGINNERS & ADVANCED PLAYERS

GOAL: rallies from the get-go; safety and basic training

In small groups (2–4 players) that are matched for age and performance, not only are the basic strokes learned, but also the serve, and there is training in tactical understanding for ball and stroke confidence (versatile tennis technique).Drawing on related sports, holistic motor skills and general coordination and fitness are trained in a supportive manner.

METHODOLOGY: Learning/small and mid-sized court

Juniors from 10 years

FOR ADVANCED & TOURNAMENT PLAYERS

GOAL: rallies from the get-go; safety and accuracy; basic and higher-level training

In small groups (2–4 players) that are matched for age and performance, not only are all the basic strokes learned – technical variations are also addressed in a task-oriented manner. The basic tactical pattern is augmented by the accuracy component. Simple real match situations are gradually integrated into the training, which supports the general understanding of the game.

METHODOLOGY: Learning and practice/from mid-sized to large court

Juniors from 10 years

FOR TOURNAMENT PLAYERS & COMPETITIVE PLAYERS

GOAL: rallies from the get-go; safety, accuracy and speed; skill build-up and performance training

In small groups (2–4 players) that are matched for age and performance, not only are all the basic strokes learned, but technical variations are also trained in a task-oriented manner, placing demands on conditioning-based capabilities. Complex tactical patterns, as well as play moves, are worked out sustainably and trained in a goal-oriented manner. The preparation for a tournament or competition (and tournament assistance) are important pillars of this training phase.
